The community

An explainer you keep private teaches one person. Set it public and it joins the community on scrimba.com/explain, where the lesson you needed this morning becomes the lesson someone else finds tonight.

The feed

Public explainers appear in the Community tab of the explain page, and show up in search. Anyone can watch them, no account needed.

Views and likes

Every explainer counts its views, and viewers can like the ones that taught them something. Both show on the explainer, so you can see which of your lessons land.

Featured

Scrimba curates the best public explainers into the Featured tab on the explain page. There's no application: make something good and public, and it can end up in front of everyone.

A playlist can go public the same way, and Use cases collects published examples worth watching first.
